Our History

Beaumont Bible Church (BBC) began as Beaumont Community Church, a non-denominational church, in November of 1976.  The services were held at the Beaumont West End YMCA on Dowlen Road until 1979 when facilities and land were purchased at 1245 Chamberlain in Beaumont.  the first pastor was Dwayne Camp, followed by Kirk Muller in 1983, which is also the year that the name of he church was changed to Beaumont Bible Church.

Gary Brice became pastor in 1991, and in 2003 BBC combined with Greater Life Church (GLC), a non-traditional church which was affiliated with the Southern Baptist convention but had doctrine and practices similar to BBC.  The pastor of GLC was Blaine McFarland, and he became the pastor of outreach and administration while Gary Brice continued as the teaching pastor.  Since June 18, 2007 Mark Land has been the pastor of BBC.

After selling the facilities and property on Chamberlain in Beaumont, BBC built new facilities on church owned property on Highway 105 in Beaumont.  After a brief period of services held at Legacy Christian Academy, BBC moved into the new facilities at 7870 Highway 105 in Beaumont in April of 2012.
